The factory was established in 2005 and is situated at E65/66 Boranada Industrial Area, Phase 1, Jodhpur. It is spread over 1,00,000 sq. ft. and houses more than 35 modern woodworking plant & machineries including CNC Seasoning Kilns (advanced drying technology), Clamp Carrier, Wide Belt Sander, Tenoner-Mortiser, Multi-boring and Shot Blasting machines. Production is being carried out using a pragmatic blend of latest machinery and hand-made workmanship - artisans like bone inlayers, carvers, metal cladding etc embellish a seemingly mundane item to bring out a unique story. Our painters then bring out the woods natural charm while also protecting it. Production takes place under constant supervision.
Having exhausted the possibility of adding building space at our Boranada factory and keeping in mind the volume required by large furniture companies who traditionally source their furniture in China, Vietnam or Malaysia, we decided to invest in a large parcel of land admeasuring an area of 7,00,000 sq. ft. so that we have plenty of room for expansion. At present we have constructed building space of 75,000 sq. ft. on this land.
We decided to up the ante by investing in the state-of-the-art most advanced technologies in the field of woodworking, an Italian 5 axis CNC machine centre which equips us with the capability to undertake orders requiring high degree of precision or involving complex parts nearly impossible to produce consistently on another machine or by hand. This machine also allows us to capture the entire manufacturing machine code on a computer to replicate exactly on a future production runs. It also equips us with the possibility to optimise the production batch size and shorten the production process while adhering to the higher quality standards. Our staff has received expert training from Italian technicians and is well acquainted with bridging the gap between design and its replication in production. A total of 15 machines including an 8 head linear shaper have been commissioned in this factory to balance the line.
